The test of any man's character is how he takes praise

As anyone who knows me well can tell, I am not one to do anything for the recognition but just cause of the fact that I find it fun. Yup! Its simple, I don't do things I don't enjoy. If I have to do them, I make sure I enjoy it. Its only for the fun and maybe self-improvement at times. But in the end, I am not one to refuse recognition for what I have done. It helps keep me motivated to an extent and keep doing what I do best (you tell me what that is).

So on to the point. I received an email a couple weeks back and I have only told 2-3 of my friends (and my parents of course) till now. I have been selected to receive the Outstanding Sophomore Award from the College of Computing for 2009. I was truly not expecting this till I got the email, specially since I was rooting for someone else to receive it but am greatly honored. The Award will be presented to me in a ceremony on April 21st 11:00am in the Klaus Atrium. Come join me for the ceremony.
